In a few hours Fedor will have to negotiate a large occluded front stretching across the Pacific Ocean from the coast of Antarctica to 20 degrees south latitude.<\/p>\n

Our weather adviser suggests the following:<\/p>\n

\u00abthe best option of all altitudes is to maintain 7000m for the next 12-24 hours, maybe longer. That way we cross the front in a less active part and smaller zone between 18 and 20 UTC, which is beginning of daylight for Fedor. The more active part will be to the north of him. I may suggest a different altitude when reaching the front and I will keep a close eye on things. Good luck\u00bb!<\/p>\n
