On Saturday morning at 6:45 am, December 14th Fedor Konyukhov left the yacht club <a href=\"http:\/\/www.higuerillas.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Higuerillas<\/a> on his 9 meters row boat &ldquo;Tourgoyak&rdquo;.&nbsp; Once out of the yacht-club and in the ocean he headed in the north-west direction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img src=\"https:\/\/konyukhov.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG1648323559_n_600.jpg\"   class=\"attachment-original size-original\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Fedor&rsquo;s support group jumped into a motor boat a couple of hours later to catch up with Fedor around 9am when he was already in the open ocean. Another motor boat carried Fedor&rsquo;s friends and family. Both boats were generously provided by the yacht club.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img src=\"https:\/\/konyukhov.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG2035303108_n_600.jpg\"   class=\"attachment-original size-original\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The light drizzle, south west wind of 5-6 knots, and the air temperature of 16 C made it a good day for a start of a 7 months trans-pacific saga.
