The start of the Trans Pacific Ocean rowing

And so it begins. On Saturday morning at 6:45 am, December 14th Fedor Konyukhov left the yacht club Higuerillas on his 9 meters row boat “Tourgoyak”.  Once out of the yacht-club and in the ocean he headed in the north-west direction. 

Fedor’s support group jumped into a motor boat a couple of hours later to catch up with Fedor around 9am when he was already in the open ocean. Another motor boat carried Fedor’s friends and family. Both boats were generously provided by the yacht club.
